Best Solutions For Your Business

SEGMENTED SOLUTIONS

What ever industrial segment you are in there is a solution!

Please explore your related industry segment to find what solutions we can assist you with. For us it's important that you use enzymes in the right amount in your production process. That's why we create enzyme analyses, to determine quantitative assays and also assays to determine if there are any enzymatic activity left. In other word – we help our customers to transform working with enzymes.

Food & Beverage

Food & Beverage is a business segment we support to secure healthy use of enzymes in food production. We will see more and more traditional food production, transforming to plant-based – and even development into fermentation processes of food manufacturing. The solutions we provide to the food and beverage manufacturing industry are focuced on these main areas:

AgriCulture

Plant-based food sources are critical today. The agriculture is setting new standards and the crop breeders need to deliver their best to make new future breeds. From soil to table is more crucial today than ever and new technologies supporting the agriculture industry are here. For us we want to secure enzymes are used in the right amount and to make enzyme analyses fast and easy to measure within these business segments:

INDUSTRIAL CLEANING

Enzymes are catalysts that increase the rate of chemical reactions occurring in a variety of biological processes including digestion and growth. In the detergent industry, commercial enzymes are used to provide a higher degree of stain removal, whiteness, fabric and colour care and overall cleaning performance. Measuring enzymes are therefore relevant for Commercial Laundry.

Using a protease-based CIP detergent, you can measure the enzymatic activity, ensuring consistent and high-quality cleaning of your production equipment. Effective CIP cleaning prevent biofilm accumulation and corrosion. It will affect your plant's microbial control and taste, smell, flavour and even shelf life of the final product. Relevant for measurements in Food manufactoring.

Our MINI-LAB solution can measure if there is any enzyme activity left after cleaning. You can get both quantitative and absense of results with our easy to use assay.

Research & Development

Ready-to-use enzyme activity screening tool. Precise and detailed information about enzyme activities help industries optimize raw material treatments, avoid prolonged processing time, reduce waste and improve output and stability.

We offer high throughput enzyme screening plates with many different enzyme substrates. Using our Enzyme Screening plates allows you to quantitatively evaluate many different enzyme activities in your sample in a single analysis.

We also offer Development Projects, where we define your specific needs, we approach the project by dividing it into phases. Each phase will need your consent and approval, before moving to the next phase. This allows both parties to secure the Development Project fulfills the customer specifications.

Our MINI-LAB setup will have additional non-enzymatic analysis moving forward.

Animal Nutrition & Health

Selected groups of enzymes are in demand due to their ability to improve animal performance and reduce nutritional variation in raw materials. Enzymes have the potential to improve feed digestibility. Proteases break down complex proteins into shorter proteins, called peptides, and amino acids, which are the building blocks of protein. Other types of enzymes are capable of breaking down starch in feed into smaller molecules, thus making more of the energy found in starch available to the animal.

Following the process of manufacturing animal feed with (adjunct) enzymes it is ideally to perform a QC of enzymatic activity in the feed product. The production process can have detrimental effects on added enzymes due to e.g., pressure, heat, etc.

We can enable you to do your own analyses for testing enzymatic activity in your animal feed products.

BIO RENEWABLES

Energy obtained from biologically-derived material (bioenergy) is the biggest global source of renewable energy on the planet, providing about 10% of all our energy needs. Chemistry plays a key role in transforming these biologically-derived materials into fuels and other useful chemicals.

Enzymatic hydrolysis in bioethanol production presents an important step, where sugars that are fermented are obtained in the final fermentation process. In the process of enzymatic hydrolysis, more and more new effective enzymes are being researched to ensure a more cost-effective process.
