Discovery Kit is an assay tool for initial enzyme activity research on a broad range of raw materials, formulas and premixes. It is comprised of 16 different substrates and is designed for sample test when it is not known what kind of enzymes are present. With this product cellulase, hemicellulose, dextranase, starch, β-glucan, pectin, chitin degrading enzymes can be analyzed during one experiment.
Optimization kit is comprised of a single substrate in all 96 multiplate wells and represents a valuable high-throughput solution for assessing enzyme concentration/activity/efficiency for enzymes and enzyme mixtures whose specificity is already known. Potential applications include batch-to-batch variation assessment in enzyme expression quality tracking, enzyme activity optimization with regard to different conditions such as pH, temperature and buffer components and many others.
BREWER'S DREAM kit
Enzymes play an important role in the beer industry from raw cereal grains and malt to the final product. Three important enzymes in brewing are: α-amylase, β-amylase, limit-dextrinase. All three enzyme activities are currently measured in separate assays that are cumbersome, tedious and expensive. We have developed an integrated assay where these can be measured in one assay in a simple 3-step procedure.

CUSTOM LAYOUT kit
Custom Layout Kit is an assay tool for enzyme activity research on a broad range of raw materials, formulas and premixes. This product consists of chosen substrates from our list which allows to adapt it to custom experimental setups. It is used to validate enzyme activity by visual inspection or by using absorbance readers. This product is highly customizable, order it with our help.
One of the advantages with the GlycoSpot technology is that you can combine pure substrates in one well or vial, and thereby measure how your enzyme(s) behave towards a mix of substrates. You can have up to 3 substrates mixed in one well, as their different color allows different absorbance measurements at their peak value. Individual enzyme activity can be resolved through their colored products. If designed well, this product saves a lot of time and combines 288 individual tests in one plate. Our scientist will help during designing the kit and your experiment.
CUSTOM SYNTHESIS kit
Custom biomaterial substrates are unique substrates produced from raw biological material or biomass. The kit allows our customers to go out of our provided substrate stock and create their own substrate. Usually, from the material that they want to experiment with putting enzymes on (like orange pulp, milled malt or flour, wheat straw, etc.). It is useful when you want to optimize concentrations of the already used enzymes or try different enzyme combinations in order to get better results. If you have any ideas, don’t hesitate – we can make substrates out of almost anything!
